Anxiety Disorders
Anxiety can affect many parts of life—work, school, relationships, sleep, and overall well-being. It may show up as constant worry, racing thoughts, panic attacks, trouble relaxing, or always expecting the worst. We take time to understand how anxiety is affecting your daily life and what matters most to you.
Treatment for anxiety is individualized. We work closely with each client to create a personalized plan based on their symptoms, goals, and preferences.
Anxiety is highly treatable. Through a thoughtful evaluation and evidence-based care, we help clients understand their symptoms, build confidence, and move toward lasting relief.

Common reasons people reach out
- Your mind constantly races with worst-case scenarios, and you just want to know how to turn the volume down
- You experience overwhelming rushes of fear that come out of nowhere, or you find yourself constantly worrying about when the next one might happen
- The idea of speaking up in meetings, giving presentations, or being the center of attention triggers intense nerves that hold you back professionally or socially
- You have tried managing the stress on your own, and you are ready to figure it out with a trusted professional
Anxiety questions we are asked most
Do I have to take medication?
No. Medication is one of several options, and not all patients are candidates for it. Some don’t want it, and that’s ok. We will discuss what the evidence supports for your own situation, what you are open to, and what fits your goals.
What if my anxiety makes it hard for me to even reach out for help?
This is a completely normal feeling, and you are already taking a brave first step just by being here today. We make the intake process as stress-free as possible, starting with a free 15-minute consultation. There is no judgment here, no rushing, and no pressure to have everything figured out. We will take things entirely at your pace, starting from our very first conversation.
Why does my anxiety feel so physical?
Anxiety is not just in your head; it lives in your body, too. When your mind senses stress, it triggers a physical response that can feel like a racing heart, a knotted stomach, shallow breathing, a headache, or constant muscle tension. It can be incredibly alarming, but it is simply your nervous system trying to protect you. We will work on gentle ways to soothe your body so your mind can follow.
Is telehealth effective for anxiety?
Research consistently finds telepsychiatry comparable to in-person care for anxiety disorders. For many people it is easier to sustain, because there is no commute, no waiting room, and less scheduling friction — and consistency matters more than setting.
How to get started
