Ongoing Wellness
Once things are steady, care shifts from building a plan to maintaining one. Regularly scheduled visits keep your treatment plan steady. As your life, stressors, and needs change, treatment will evolve. As in routine medicine, careful monitoring is a critical part of your psychiatric care.
Ongoing wellness visits are shorter than the initial evaluation, but just as important. They offer a chance to review what is working, adjust what is not, and catch small issues before they grow.

Ongoing Wellness questions we are asked most
What happens at a routine check-in?
A 30- or 60-minute video visit covering how you have been since the last appointment. We will discuss medication and side effects if applicable, sleep, appetite, stress, and anything new. Adjustments are made as needed, and refills are handled at the same time. We may also support you with brief psychotherapy and skills building.
How often should I be seen?
This is tailored to each individual patient and depends on many factors, including presenting symptoms, history, personalized treatment plan, medications, and more. We will be transparent with you based on your own personal situation.
Can I message between visits?
Yes. Focused Care and Routine Care patients have unlimited secure messaging through the patient portal. All clinical questions and personal information should go through the portal rather than email.
What if things get worse between appointments?
For an emergency or urgent issue, call 911 or 988 or go to your nearest emergency department — we are not a crisis facility and do not provide after-hours coverage.
For non-urgent issues, message us through the patient portal or call us at (480) 680-7706. We will reply as soon as possible. Due to the nature of our business, replies are not immediate and can take more than 1 day. We will do our very best to be as responsive as we can.
Never leave urgent or emergency messages in the patient portal or on our voicemail.
How to get started
- Request a free 15-minute phone consultation to confirm we are a good fit.
- Complete a short pre-screening form before the call.
